It is now supported on new Mac computers (OSX 10.9 and 10.10) and on newer Windows systems (Windows 7 and later).
Calman Color Calibration software is built to work with an installed version of the X-Rite ColorChecker Passport or ColorChecker Classic. The software utilizes the RGB and CMYK models for calibration of the display and the ColorChecker® Eye-One Display to compute and report the colorimetric values of the display.
Calman is an industry-leading color management application that can be used to calibrate both desktop and portable displays and devices. Calman is used to convert and to correct the color of computer monitors, projectors, scanners, cameras, tablets, cellphones and the built-in camera of Apple iDevices.
Speed
Calman 4.1 is the first color calibration software to be able to calibrate video projectors. Using the software the projector can be calibrated at the touch of a button. This makes it much quicker to do calibration. The same is true for portable displays, such as tablets, cellphones and other touch screen displays. All of these devices need to be calibrated before color correctness can be achieved.
Reduce the need for re-calibration
Many organizations do not have a calibration lab and need to calibrate their computers at the site. Calman 4.1 makes this possible. It allows users to calibrate their computer, tablet, or smartphone using the display.
Analyze each pixel
Calman color calibration software offers the best color correction values in every pixel of the image. This is possible because Calman adjusts the image, RGB and CMYK values, per pixel. Calman does not apply color corrections to the entire image, but to each individual pixel. This makes Calman color calibration software the most accurate and precise way to correct the colors of a digital display.
User can now have an option to convert the color image to a black and white (grayscale) version
In Calman 4.1, users can convert their image to a black and white (grayscale) version before color correction. This is useful if the user is not going to use the RGB or CMYK values in the image.
Shift settings
Calman 4.1 includes a Shift feature that allows user to adjust the RGB and CMYK values for the specific display, prior to or after calibration. The Shift
